Rotary disc valves are designed to regulate the flow and pressure of liquid and gaseous media, as well as as shut-off and regulating devices of pipelines. Disc valves belong to the shut-off and control valves. The rotary disc shutter is a circular disc flap with a seal that allows for flow overlap. The seal of the shutter is provided by the displacement of the axis of rotation of the disk and the use of a sealing rubber cord or a fused seal.
